5 – Alban Lafont
In 5th place of this Top players trained at Tef ‘, we find Alban Lafont! The Franco-Burkinabe goalkeeper joined the Toulouse training center in 2014. He will pass a year before joining the professional group in the summer 2015. The keeper of1m96 then discover the League 1 where he will argue 3 seasons with the Violets for a total of 106 games played. To 16 years oldAlban Lafont becomes the youngest starting goalkeeper in Ligue 1 history. He made a strong impression in Toulouse and will be sold in the summer of 2018 for 8 million euros to Fiorentina. After a season spent in Italy, he was loaned to FC Nantes before being definitely sold to the Canaries where he still plays. In Nantes, the native of Ouagadougou still takes another dimensionespecially during this last season where he won the first trophy of his career, winner of the Coupe de France with the Yellow House. He left the Tef’ in June 2018sold to West Ham for 25 million euros and remains to this day the highest sale in the history of Toulouse FC. 3 – Etienne Capoue
On the 3rd step of the podium, we find the midfielder Étienne Capoue! Capoue joins the TéFéCé training center in 2005 to pass 2 years before signing professional in the summer 2007. The midfielder will continue for 6 years with the Violets. In the first season, he didn’t find a lot of playing time, but it will end up imposing itself during the 2008/2009 financial year. In 6 seasons among the Pitchouns, Étienne Capoue disputes in total 196 games for 13 goals and 10 assists. It will be sold at Tottenham for 11 million euros. With a transfer to watford in July 2015Étienne Capoue will experience a total of 7 Premier League seasons before being relegated to the Championship in 2020 with the Hornets. It then bounces back to Villarreal in January 2021 and won the Europa League with the Spanish club the same year. During this 2021/2022 financial year, Capua manages with the Yellow Submarine to reach the semi-finals of the Champions League, after eliminating Bayern Munich. For his first in the competition, the player trained in Toulouse registered 2 goals and 4 assists. Of 2007 to 2013the native of Blanc-Mesnil will experience nearly 6 seasons playing in the Violets jersey. During a little less than 6 years spent with ToulouseMoussa Sissoko argues 219 games for 24 goals scored and 12 assists delivered. In the winter 2013it’s sold 2 million euro at Newcastle where he will go 4 seasons. At the Magpies, he shows all his abilities and adapts quickly to the intensity of the Premier League which fits perfectly with his player profile. He then joins Tottenham where Spurs buy it 35 million euros. With the Londoners it ends vice-champion of England in 2017 and Champions League finalist in 2019.
