The 90min predictions for the 2022/23 season

Last season, PSG won Ligue 1 for the tenth time in its history. OM, AS Monaco, Stade Rennais, OGC Nice and FC Nantes managed to get their ticket to Europe. On the other hand, AS Saint-Étienne, FC Metz and Bordeaux have failed to maintain their position and will play in Ligue 2 this season. Focus on the bets for this 2022/23 season in Ligue 1.

there is no doubt. PSG are the clear favorites this season. With their workforce filled with stars in almost all sectors, the club of the capital seems the most equipped to win its eleventh national crown.

Unsurprisingly, the capital club will win the championship this season. Despite a sluggish start to the season, the Parisians will quickly move up a gear in the second half of the championship in order to win their eleventh French championship. A record.

Author of an almost perfect pre-season (5 wins, 1 draw), the promoted will continue its momentum during its official outings this season, in particular thanks to good recruitment during the off-season. The Violets will surprise their world by finishing in sixth place synonymous with the Conference League.

Le Gym will disappoint this season. After the loss of their technician Christophe Galtier at PSG, the Niçois will struggle to get out of the game. In particular because of a new European table this season. Too quickly left behind at the start of the exercise, the Aiglons will find it difficult to catch up and will finish just in the first part of the table.

This season, PSG will appear as the scarecrow of the championship by finishing at the top of the standings. In view of the good recruitment from Marseille and the Rhone, the latter will seize the last qualifying tickets for the cup with big ears. AS Monaco and Stade Rennais, now loyal regulars in Europe, will qualify for the Europa League. Téfécé will snatch the last qualifying place for Europe: the Conference League, from serious contenders such as Strasbourg and Lille or Lens.

If the Auvergnats held on last season, it’s probably thanks to their start to the championship. But this year the descent to four will not smile to the Clermontois.

Likewise for Les Troyens, specialists in yo-yos between the elite and Ligue 2, will experience the same fate.

Since their rise to Ligue 1 in 2019/20 thanks to Covid-19, FC Lorient has always finished on the verge of relegation. The latter will not escape it this year.

Despite an excellent season in Ligue 2, AC Ajaccio will unfortunately return to Ligue 2. We see them finishing in 16th place but the latter will be exclusively synonymous with downhill this season.

For four seasons now, the French genius has always finished top scorer in Ligue 1. Constantly improving over the years, the former Monegasque could be on the way to an unprecedented season.

Despite a season well below its usual performance last year, La Pulga has found the hair of the beast. Positioned as an attacking midfielder, the Argentinian will essentially change as a serial smuggler. His keen sense of the game is no longer to be proven.

Gianluigi Donnarumma

During the previous exercise, “Gigio” alternated with Keylor Navas in the Parisian cages. As a result, the transalpine goalkeeper could not fully deploy the extent of his talent. But without a doubt, the European champion will achieve his real first season.
