A Saint-Etienne agency for audiovisual creations and strategy, Teaser Medias produces advertising and communication videos, whether corporate or not. She has also participated in reports for major French channels. This spring, the company regrouped its premises in the Giron park in Saint-Etienne, thus inaugurating new studios which strengthen its working tools.
Parc Giron, 3e ! The first conversion project – the ambition of a city of antique dealers in the 1980s – on the industrial wasteland Giron, a ribbon manufacturer who definitively put the key under the trade in the 70s after having employed up to 1,000 employees , never really took. So on its eastern part, almost empty since 2015, a real estate developer gave it a third life in 2020. This redesign over 7,000 m2 of the site was designed by the architecture firm Busquet. Apart from an Intermarché opened in October 2021, there are mainly housing there, around thirty lofts, with their exteriors covered by a large common glazed roof. But one of them is not a home. It’s the cozy setting of 80 m2 (135 with the mezzanine) chosen by Teaser Media to consolidate its activities.
The agency specializing in communication and audiovisual advertising was founded in Rive-de-Gier in 2014 by Jean-Christophe Murat, Anthony Goncalvès and Laurent Abrial. “We all come from the artistic milieu where we were techniciansexplains the first. Today, I am more specialized in sound, Anthony on motion design and Laurent on production-editing. » Marie Imberdis has since joined the trio as webmarketing and digital communication manager. “Four years ago, we had already moved our offices to the Great Creative Factory in Saint-Etienne while keeping our studios in Rive-de-Giercontinues Jean-Christophe Murat. But as part of our development, we wanted to centralize here. For us, it’s more working comfort in the exchanges between us, in the technique enjoying high ceilings, in welcoming customers and therefore a great added value for our efficiency. »
Teaser Medias has human and material skills for the production of videos (including if necessary by using drones), design, post-production and broadcasting, motion design, voice-overs and “sound design”. “We go as far as support, strategic advice around audiovisual communication: how to adapt the tone, the format to this audience or target audience, organize the broadcast campaign on the media, create teasers, etc. As well as ROI monitoring », adds Marie Imberdis, whose arrival in September 2018 as a specialist in webmarketing and digital communication has made it possible to diversify in these areas. Diversification is also what prompted Teaser Medias to integrate the Roannaise agency Method in 2019, specializing in videos of land use planning and construction.
The whole now weighs 10 employees, “soon 11” and €617,000 in turnover in 2021. Apart from 2020, the year most impacted by Covid, where it managed to limit the damage, driven by word of mouth, the agency has experienced constant growth since its beginnings without having needed to develop a real marketing approach. The references it displays speak for themselves: Peugeot, Ray-Ban, EDF ENR, Crédit Agricole, ASSE, the Choir or even prestigious local SMEs such as Altinnova or Obut. A lot of local authorities also for promotional videos: the Aura Region, Roannais agglomeration, the Loire Department, Creusot-Montceau Tourisme to name a few. In this non-exhaustive list, the names also include other communication agencies in Saint-Etienne – Webqam in particular – or in the Region, 70% of its activity being subcontracted for them.
Participation in the My Canal series on Samuel Eto’o
It is with this in mind, in conjunction with the Plein Ax agency of the former JRI (image reporter) of Canal+ Guillaume Pivot, who at the same time also became a partner and co-owner of Teaser Medias, that the agency was able to work in post-production of subjects intended for the television news of France 2. Or, on the production of a documentary mini-series in six episodes broadcast on My Canal this year and devoted to the former Cameroonian footballer, Samuel Eto’o, who was one of the best strikers on the planet in the second half of the 2000s.
Recently, it was again as a subcontractor for Parisian and Lyon agencies that she also focused on the Amazon Prime advertising campaign around her nightly sessions at Roland Garros, which she broadcast highlighting Gaël Monfils. . The filming took place in Paris but the editing of 25 pastilles broadcast on social networks, declining the main film, was indeed carried out in Saint-Etienne. Teaser Medias which could perhaps merge with Plein Ax in the long term and thus weigh 1 M€ in turnover is finally considering the creation of a graphic studio which would be there, rather located near the Lyon region.
