Long muzzled by the Covid, Kop France was able to make its voice heard again in February, during the TQO (Olympic Qualification Tournament) in Bourges, which saw Valérie Garnier’s players validate their ticket for the Tokyo Olympics. “The atmosphere was really great, remembers the Landaise. And the trips to Germany and Vendéspace to support the boys were fabulous. Each time, the feedback from the public and the players has been positive, it’s very motivating. »

Travel conducive to exchanges between athletes and fans, or between supporters of different nations. Meetings immortalized by so many selfies, like the one with the tricolor captain, Endy Miyem, of whom Elsa is an unconditional admirer.

“In Tenerife, we were lucky enough to be able to approach Team USA, Taurasi, Griner and Ogwumike, who took the time to chat,” says Elsa Lafitte.
