IN IMAGES, IN PICTURES. 24 Hours of Le Mans, Arctic Vendée, Formula 1… the most beautiful images of the weekend.

Toyota at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, Roglic and Vingegaard hand in hand on the Critérium du Dauphiné, the joy of Bordeaux rugby players at Chaban-Delmas… The sporting weekend was once again marked by good times, and some great catches of views by the photographers present on site.

From Austria to Le Mans, from the Alps to the Gironde, here are the most beautiful photos of the sporting weekend.

Toyota continues its reign at Le Mans

The No. 8 Toyota scored the brand’s fifth straight win at the 24 Hours of Le Mans on Sunday 12 June. A double, since it is the Toyota n° 7 which took second place.

The event is also marked by the passage of relays in the stables.

Still in the West, the start of the Arctic Vendée was given on Sunday 12 June. This is a qualifying event for the Vendée Globe which will take place in 2024.

This weekend also took place the play-offs of the Top 14. Stade Toulousain and Union Bordeaux-Bègles disposed of Stade Rochelais and Racing 92 to reach the semi-finals, respectively against Castres and Montpellier. They will take place at the Allianz Riviera, in Nice.

Portuguese and Germans become disillusioned

No match this weekend for the Blues, held in check Friday evening in Austria (1-1). The France team finds the Stade de France this Monday evening against Croatia, before going on vacation. From Sunday, they trained in the Dionysian enclosure.

Football, there was, always in the League of Nations, with in particular the victory of Switzerland, Sunday June 12, against Portugal (1-0). All under the clouds.

On Saturday, the Hungarians held in check a Germany which skates in this competition with three draws in three games (1-1). At the Puskas Arena, the public pushed his team.

Loana Lecomte triumphs in Austria

A neighboring country to Hungary, Austria hosted a round of the Mountain Bike World Cup. And among the ladies, it was the Frenchwoman Loana Lecomte who won, Sunday June 12, in Leolang.

Other riders with a smile on a bike, Primoz Roglic and Jonas Vingegaard. The first won the general classification of the Dauphiné on Sunday, ahead of his Danish teammate, winner of the last stage at the Plateau de Solaison. All hand in hand.

Max Verstappen, Oranje in a hurry

The other who can have a smile is Max Verstappen. The reigning F1 world champion won the Azerbaijan Grand Prix and increased his lead in the championship, taking advantage of the misfortunes of Ferrari, which saw its two single-seaters retire.

Other meetings are scheduled for next weekend, with the continuation of the final phases of the Top 14, the final of the Tour de Suisse or the German Grand Prix of MotoGP.
